FRIDAY, SEPT. 21 9:19 a.m. - A report was filed regarding a suspicious person who was banging on the door of an off campus student residence. Newton Police also responded and the party was identified.
11:47 a.m. - A report was filed regarding an on-going roommate dispute that is being handled by Residential Life.
7:35 p.m. - A report was filed regarding a motor vehicle accident. One party was injured but after first aid he refused further treatment.
10:14 p.m. - A report was filed regarding several parties who were trapped in an elevator due to it being overloaded with passengers. They were rescued from the elevator without incident.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 22 12:56 a.m. - A report is filed regarding a report of an assault and battery. Suspects were identified and a detective will investigate.
1:36 a.m. - An officer investigates a suspicious motor vehicle. The person was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana and being a minor in possession of alcohol.
2:05 a.m. - A report was filed regarding an off campus noise complaint. Police and CAP patrol responded to the area and several students were identified.
11:50 a.m. - A report was filed regarding a counterfeit football parking permit which was confiscated.
1:29 a.m. - A report was filed regarding a small fire which ignited a tablecloth at a tailgate. The fire was extinguished with minimal damage.
1:33 a.m. - A report was filed regarding a dog which was tied to a vehicle on Shea Field. The owner was identified, located and returned to secure the animal and leave the area.
