You might have heard a rumor. A rumor that I helped spread: A Notre Dame fan is still on campus. He got stranded - I heard he missed his flight or something - and is now staying in the Mods. This is a lie, and I'm sorry. Although this is a myth, there is a true legend staying in the Mods this week; we'll just call him Brocki. In his honor, I give you The Notre Dame Fan.
You know those horrifying weeks when every single group project is suddenly due, you forgot about a 10-page research paper, your laundry is overflowing, you left your debit card at the bar, and all you want is a skim hot chocolate with a shot of sugar-free hazelnut, no whip, extra hot? Exactly!
We've all been there. So that was/is my week. But then a hurricane blew us all out of the water this past weekend. Who is he? Some big shot from UConn, crashing in the Mods for an entire week of what we all wish our lives were like. What's he up to? Watching Casino Royale, playing video games, and accosting all passersby with contracts that ensure he'll have people to party with. Legend status.
Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Strain into an old-fashioned glass over ice. Garnish with lime if you're feeling classy. Serve to your adoring fans. Goes down smooth, cheers abound.
Of course there's an alternative here. It's called shotgunning - I'm not going to promote this or teach you kids how to do it, but if you want to learn, I'm sure you can find Brocki shotgunning alone in the kitchen of 28 doing it. In honor of our guest, raise your Notre Dame Fan (or shotgunnable beer) and Drink Up!
