Gossip Girl is only in its second season running on the CW, but it has already proven itself, in my opinion, as TV's greatest guilty pleasure. Although Serena van der Woodsen, played by Blake Lively, steals the show with her gorgeous good looks and her mysterious, pained demeanor, I prefer to watch Blair Waldorf, her manipulative, conniving, and extremely fashionable best friend. Blair is played by Leighton Meester, who played singer Justine Chapin on Entourage before scoring a part on GG in 2007. Meester recently starred in the independent film Flourish, and will appear in the upcoming The Beautiful Ordinary, a comedy/drama about teens in the '90s. Considering Meester's film career really seems to be taking off, I hope she doesn't abandon her role on GG - I need my weekly dose of Blair's bitchiness. Blair is the perfect bad girl - she seduces Brits, blackmails older women, drinks plenty of champagne, and does it all in Marc Jacobs.
