I implore you to discredit any television network that purports to "know drama," for it is a flawed assertion; unless that station is C-SPAN - the bastion of governmental and purely dramatic television since 1979. I envision furrowed brows and outrage at this censure of other worthy entertainment like Kyle XY or the E! channel. Imagine the grilling a representative in Congress may receive on any given day. Consider the tension between Press Secretary Dana Perino and Washington reporters at daily press briefings. Think about the insights being introduced during every "Book TV." All of the action is unscripted and it comes to a head every morning from 7 to 10 a.m. during Washington Journal, a program that highlights the top news from The Beltway and beyond. Specifically, accolades must be given to Steve Scully, a political editor for C-SPAN and one host of Washington Journal. Not only is Scully a professional and general all-star, but he must finally receive proper recognition for this "under-the-radar job." That is why Mr. Scully is being highlighted in this section, not just for his contribution this week, but for every week on the program.
