1. Heroes - At this point, it almost seems like the world as we know it is divided into not only heroes and villains, but those who watch this phenomenal show and those who don't. For those stragglers out there still looking to choose a side: Heroes follows the lives of ordinary people - like you - who discover they have been gifted with extraordinary abilities. The premise sounds X-Men-esque, but several intricate and intertwining plotlines and a whole slew of endearing characters make this show exceptional in its own right. Check it out on NBC, Monday at 9 p.m.

2. Pushing Daisies - This show follows the adventures of the young pie maker Ned, who has the ability to bring people back to life by touching them, a gift he uses to solve murder mysteries - and revive his dead childhood crush. Part clever dramedy, part whimsical fairytale, and part buzzing romance this show is definitely one to check out. And if you still need convincing, what's the name of Ned's pie shop? The Pie Hole. Tune in to ABC, Wednesday at 8 p.m.

3. Fringe - Take The X-Files, mix in a bit of weird science, shake, and serve with a wry garnish, and you might get something like Fringe. The show focuses on Olivia Dunham, an FBI agent tackling the strange and phenomenological, with the help of Dr. Walter Bishop, a questionably mad scientist, and his son. If nothing else, you should keep an ear out for the banter between Pacey - I mean, Peter Bishop - and his father. Tune in to FOX, Tuesday at 8 p.m.
