Boston College co-ed sailing retained the nation's top rank by winning two titles over the weekend.

At the University of Vermont, the team won the Lake Champlain Open and then back in Boston, the Eagles won the Metro Series regatta at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

In the Vermont regatta, the Eagles won the event by 30 points behind top place finishes from the duos of Jay Connolly and Erin Morley and Spencer Powers and Brooke Dow. It was the third time in three years that BC won the event.

At MIT, Charles Baver and Quinn Ziatyk finished second in the A division and were followed up by Mike Grosso and Nicole Benson winning the B division.

The No. 1 Eagles are back on the water this weekend in four different regattas on Saturday.
