Several bomb threats made to the University interrupted midterm exams. Searches were conducted following each threat but explosive devices were not found. The first call came in from Fulton Hall at 8:30 a.m. March 14, and occupants were forced to evacuate. The next day, Boston College Police received a similar call from Cushing at 10:46 a.m. and occupants were given the option of leaving. There appeared to be no connection between the two threats. The threat from Cushing Hall presented a unique problem because of the Infirmary within, and Health Service personnel were annoyed by moving sick or injured patients.
