Luke Howe, CSOM '06, and Ben Nauman, A&S '06, were elected the next president and vice president of the Undergraduate Government of Boston College today.

A total of 2,135 students voted for the pair. Reena Parikh and Nick Fuller-Googins, both A&S '06, received 1,850 votes.

Nearly half the undergraduate student body voted on the referendum asking if sexual orientation should be included in the University's nondiscrimination policy.

Of the 4,053 students who logged in to Agora to vote on the referendum, 83.94 percent -- or 3,402 -- of them supported adding the words to the clause. Just 651 voters said they did not support the referendum.
