If you glance over her song selections, you might ask, did Jackie's parents raise her by force feeding by only NOW, That's What I Call Music albums? On the contrary, Jackie Herder, a junior history major, includes these pop faves essentially as a joke. While working on articles or essays, Jackie refuses to listen anything but classical; "Mozart and Vivaldi are my faves," Jackie says. While working out, she enjoys bopping to "anything that makes me want to move." An Orlando native, however, Jackie grew up in the land where "boy bands grow on trees." Raised in the home of the likes of 98° and Backstreet Boys, Jackie does have a dark past.
