Stefano, as he is often referred to, did his undergraduate work at Gonzaga University, where he was one of the most beloved RAs on campus. While his residents maintain that Pope was a lenient authoritative figure, he did dish out his fair share of punishment. Never one to limit the social development of his students, Pope ensured that consequences would usually entail long-winded speeches about the meaning of life, and anecdotal quips by Aquinas like "all things in moderation." Stefano has carried these traditions to BC, where he continues to enlighten students courageous enough to take on his classes. Though students may need to embody Howard Berg's speed reading skills to complete Stefano's extensive workload, he certainly embodies everything your mother told you a college professor would be. So for those of you who are still looking for the class you will be excited to wake up for, and a professor that will completely change your world, look no further. The class Challenge of Peace is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
