Dominguez: UGBC isn’t about these titles of president and vice-president. As president and vice-president, I feel that we’ll be able to gain the resources to make a difference. These are just names, and it’s really about the student body working together.

Modstock

Time: 3:30 p.m.

Location: The Mod Lot

UGBC will host the annual Modstock this afternoon. Lucid Soul, the winner of BC’s Battle of the Bands, will open the event, followed by Aer, and finally, the much-anticipated Macklemore. Gates to the Mod Lot will open at 3:30 p.m. and close at 5:15 p.m.

Last Five Walk

Friday

Time: 10 a.m.

Location: The Mod Lot and Reservoir

To honor those lost and affected by the Boston Marathon bombings, two BC students created “The Last 5.” The event will include a brief ceremony in the Mod Lot followed by a walk around the Reservoir. T-shirts will be on sale, with all proceeds going to victim relief funds.

Core Proposal Meeting

Sunday

Time: 6 p.m.

Location: Murray Function Room

A Town Hall meeting will be held for the new core proposal. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and members of the core proposal team will be available to provide feedback on the changes. Information on the core proposal is available on the bc.edu website.

12:26 a.m. - A report was filed regarding a fire alarm activation in Stayer Hall.

2:15 a.m. - A report was filed regarding the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in Walsh Hall lots.

4:19 p.m. - A report was filed regarding an activated fire alarm in Voute Hall.

Monday, April 29

11:29 a.m. - A report was filed regarding an activated fire alarm in Rubenstein Hall.

5:57 p.m. - A report was filed regarding medical asisstance provided to a BC student in Stadium Roadway. The student was later transported to a medical facility.
