Kelly Miller:

Heights: How did you feel before your date began?

Kelly: I was kind of nervous. I didn’t know what to expect. I’ve heard his name before, and when I saw him I definitely recognized him.

Heights: How did your date begin?

Kelly: It was good, he seemed really nice. We met in Lower, and I spotted him because he was wearing a yellow rain jacket.

Heights: Where did you go to eat?

Kelly: From there we walked to Crazy Dough’s. We were going to go into Boston, but it was raining so we decided just to go somewhere close.

Heights: How was the conversation? What did you guys talk about?

Kelly: It was good, easy. We talked about school, his siblings, what he did over the summer. He went to Martha’s Vineyard with his family. We also talked about mutual friends and discovered we actually had many friends in common.

Heights: Were there any awkward moments?

Kelly: No, the conversation went really well. We had a lot to talk about.

HEIGHTS: Were there any interesting discoveries?

Kelly: I found out that he was an Econ major and that we lived in the same dorm last year.

HEIGHTS: How was the meal? What did you do after you ate?

Kelly: I ordered a salad. After, we walked to Dunkin’ Donuts and I got a pumpkin spiced latte. We walked back to The Heights office together and took our leftovers to go. We took the bus back to Lower and hugged goodbye.

HEIGHTS: What does the future hold for you two? Are there any plans for a second date?

Kelly: I think we can definitely be friends, especially considering we know so many of the same people. Yes, we will possibly go on more dates. Next time, we definitely want to go into Boston and try something a little more exciting.

Colin Cinder:

Heights: Where did you go on your date?

Colin: Crazy Dough’s.

Heights: Were you nervous at all?

Colin: I was super nervous because I’m not good with girls. I’ve definitely seen her walking around campus before and noticed that she’s really pretty.

Heights: How did the conversation go?

Colin: It was flowing absolutely superbly. I know so much about her now. I learned she has a pet snake named Chilldo and a younger sister and brother. She’s from New Jersey, and she’s training for a half marathon. We realized we had mutual friends, which is pretty cool.

Heights: What was the most surprising thing you learned?
