All in the span of 20 seconds. For Woody Tondorf and Joe Sabia, both A&S '06 and creators of The BC, a parody of the teen drama The OC, this is a normal conversation.

Finding an enzyme inhibitor that stops DNA from synthesizing in an attempt to develop an anti-cancer drug? All in a day's work for Elizabeth O'Day, A&S '06. A biochemistry major, O'Day is passionate about her lab work, and it has paid off in the form of four major awards.

Animated, passionate, and approachable, he founded Gnawledge Records in his sophomore year at Boston College with the overall goal of creating "an international hip-hop movement." Cody considers good artists to be ineffective at marketing.

Sasha Westerman, A&S '06, has a distinct voice that carries far. And she's not afraid to use it. For the past four years, Westerman has been an active member of Hillel, serving as president for one year, and is currently the vice president of the GLBT/Queer Leadership Council (GLC), which is in its first year at Boston College.

Their names are synonymous with Boston College basketball. They have suited up for game after game and basked in the glory of BC's winningest class ever. They have the jerseys, the warm-up apparel, and a mid-range game that most would kill for. Since joining the team in the fall of 2003 as walk-ons, Ted Dunlap and Tyler Neville, both A&S '06, have also had the best seats in the house.

By junior year, Greg Wiles, A&S '06, had taken full advantage of the opportunities for research on campus. He'd worked with the Center for Retirement Research, done an advanced study grant, and completed a readings and research course. Yet he saw that the University was missing an important element in its undergraduate research scene.

For Chantal Tate, A&S '06, things have a way of coming full circle. For the past three years, since she first participated in it freshman year, Tate has been a teaching assistant in the Learning to Learn program. After graduation she will return to New York City, most likely where she grew up in Harlem, to teach elementary school as part of Teach for America.

Wesley Saavedra, A&S '06, has an impulse he cannot suppress. If he has never done something before, he will do it. If he isn't familiar with something, he will research it. If no one has done it before, he will carve his own path. This implacable itch to embrace challenging, new things and diversify his interests comes naturally to him.

Some may know her as the Cookie Monster. Stephanie Bronner, LSOE '06, dressed up as the famous blue puppet for Halloween, mostly to amuse the kids at Boston College's Campus School. But her friends know her as a different type of "cookie monster." An avid baker - and consumer - of cookies, Bronner thrives on making small treats for others.
