Spring has finally sprung - at least in the minds of college students who refuse to give up their flip-flops for a couple more weeks of winter. Spring means much more than a change of wardrobe or a thorough cleaning of the dorm room, though. It means love is in the air. We can enjoy the love in the change of season by living vicariously through a chick flick. To make your viewing completely stress-free, The Heights Board has compiled a list of the top 10 modern chick flicks.

If you plan on rocking out when the apocalypse comes, grab R.E.M.'s Accelerate. In their first studio album since 2004's Around the Sun, Michael Stipe, guitarist Peter Buck, and bassist Mike Mills - along with their touring band - have surged back with a blistering, dynamic album about shrugging off our dwindling society and letting loose.

The Black Keys have long stood in the shadow of The White Stripes, their exponentially more famous counterparts. The comparison between the two groups has stood for as long as both two-person, minimalist, blues-rock bands have unequally shared the spotlight since the early 2000s.

There are many words to describe this film that usually never fit in the same sentence: shaving, pies, blood, and Johnny Depp singing. Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street transcends the musical genre by creating something completely different - an extremely dark satire about human vengeance.

Attending shows at Robsham, let alone at any theater, is sometimes difficult for me, because I feel that audiences have no sense of respect for performers anymore. In the days of our grandparents, the theater, ballet, or what have you was a coat-and-tails event, full of all the glitz, glamour, and grace of a wedding.

Ingredients: 1 ounce Bacardi gold rum 3 ounces cranberry juice 1 splash grenadine syrup 2 ounces orange juice 1 lemon wedge Like many young girls, I was once forced to take ballet. Luckily, my brothers convinced me that my lack of natural talent and predisposition toward baseball meant that I should quit.

Spring has sprung and so should your wardrobe. This season is all about life and energy. Brynne: Ladies, it's time to whip out those springy colors. But don't overload on the brightness, and make sure to have at least one neutral in the ensemble for balance.

After reading my review last week, an Indian friend of mine approached me and said that if I thought Indian-Dhaba was good, I absolutely had to try India Quality, which he claimed was the best Indian food in Boston. In fact, it appears that my friend isn't the only person who thinks this, because Zagat has rated it Boston's Best Indian for the last six years.

If you're looking to have a good time with a good group of people, Big City is the place to be. The best part? There's no carding at the door, only at the bar itself. This means you can finally go out with your non-21-year-old roommate and still be able to get alcohol.

Return of the Muppets: Why you should be excited It might not be the most outrageously exciting franchise comeback ever, and considering it's only been three years since their last outing (the Muppets' Wizard of Oz made-for-TV dud), I probably shouldn't even call it a comeback.

The only thing I asked of them: Say something spontaneous about music… When you sing any conversation, it makes it better. Why doesn't music play when you open the refrigerator? Sometimes when I'm watching a scary movie I put headphones on and then I'm not scared anymore because I can't hear the movie's music.

I'd like to think that if I were older, a bit more funny, and most importantly, a man, I would be Joel McHale. Unsure of who this so-called Joel McHale is? Shame on you, because he happens to be the wittiest man on the tube. He's bitter, he loves television, and he is the host of E! Network's only semi-intelligent show, The Soup.

Tennis groupies everywhere will be saddened by the news that their poster boy, Andy Roddick, is off the market. The ace proposed to swimsuit model Brooklyn Decker last Tuesday, according to Decker's rep. The pair wanted a chance to break the news to family and friends before they made a public announcement, but news travels too fast in Hollywood.

I'll admit it: Until this season, I've never paid attention to Dancing with the Stars (DWTS). Things changed, however, when I was lying down ill in my dorm room and turned on Oprah to cheer myself up. Lo and behold, the queen of all media hosted a DWTS special that evening, and my life was changed forever.

Derek Trucks is the best guitarist that this generation can claim as its own. He is 28 and has been playing guitar with the Allman Brothers since 1999. (His uncle Butch Trucks is their founding drummer.) At an early age, Trucks clung to the slide guitar creed crafted by Duane Allman, making him a perfect match for the Allman Brothers' revival.

If you ever watched RAW, then the last time was probably back when Ric Flair grappled with Hulk Hogan for the WWE championship, when The Heights published the "TV Close-Up" on Alf. In a silver-screen age of shows like Lost or 24, viewers fall fatally behind after missing minutes of one episode.

? Joseph Neese, A&R Editor It's easy to understand how Leona Lewis became the fastest-selling UK debut artist ever. With the release of "Bleeding Love," she's landed stateside. The song, a well-delivered, addictive R&B ballad co-written by Jesse McCartney, topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart in just six weeks.

1. Rock the Cradle Once again, MTV stretches its creative faculties to churn out this little gem: Let's toss a bunch of spoiled brats with something to prove into another competition show and see who inherited the rock genes. Sure, half of them have already made appearances on their parents' reality TV shows, but the spotlight can never shine too brightly for these kids.
