The increase in available student meal funds was generated due to the elimination of the capital restoration fee, which goes toward renovations and maintenance of dining facilities.
BC ranks high on list of volunteer producers

Volunteer and service groups have become an integral part of life at Boston College. This year, BC ranks ninth among the Peace Corps top volunteer-producing colleges. It has moved up four spots from last year's place and had a total of 43 alumni volunteers in its 2004 graduating class.
Facilities services VP discusses snow removal efforts

No amount of warning could have prepared Boston College students and faculty for the amount of snow that was dumped in Boston last week by the noreaster.
Mike Dwyer, associate vice president of facilities services, however, explained that the University is ready to handle the heavy snowfall that is characteristic of Boston at this time of year.
