After a comprehensive six-month search, Boston College Storage, a division of BC Student Agencies (BCSA) officially announced its partnership with Collegeboxes. The BCSA is an independently funded business entity within the Carroll School of Management that provides students with real-life business experience.

It should come as no surprise to the Boston College population that in a recent survey of college students by Experience Inc., students rated global issues high on their list of priorities. In the survey, students expressed interest and concern for human health and rights, environmental issues, economic development and poverty, education rights, international security, and technology developments.

The Dustbowl turned into a venue for activism and justice Saturday as students gathered in an effort to aid victims of human trafficking. The event, Race for Rights, raised money for victims as participants walked and even ran around the perimeter of the famous route throughout the day.

Yesterday's pleasant weather played host to the Resident Hall Association's (RHA) fourth annual "Stride For Others" - a five-kilometer run that started at 10 a.m. in front of Gasson Hall to raise money for the Boston Rescue Mission. The runners' route, which was blocked off by police, ran along Commonwealth Avenue, turned onto Irving Road, went down Ward Street, and then turned onto Algonquin Road before bringing the runners back to Commonwealth Ave.

The massacre at Virginia Tech hit too close to home for many college students, especially for me. My entire family - my father, my mother, and my brother - was at Virginia Tech the day before the shooting. My brother had just been accepted to Virginia Tech, and my family drove to Blacksburg to check it out.
