As undergraduates think about the possibility of continuing their education for a master's degree, they may not need to look further than Boston College. The postgraduate master's degree can take up to four years to complete, but BC's fifth- year program allows students to obtain a degree in only one.

If you've been in Corcoran Commons, you've seen "The Table." Its appearance is much like any other table situated throughout the Commons, but the occupants of this specific table makes it unique. It is difficult not to notice them - usually seated in droves, they aren't exactly hard to miss.

During the special time of year when the snow starts falling and the cocoa starts flowing, it's apparent that Christmas is just around the corner. In the past few years, the Christmas decorations at Boston College have started to emerge while the autumn leaves are still falling.

One of my best friends from home and I enrolled at Boston College together this year. Since we've been here, we haven't been as close. She's more of a partier - well, a lush - and I don't really like to drink. Since the age of 5, Michelle Lyden, BC '91, knew she wanted to work with children in Africa. If she were told at 5 years old that this desire would lead her to create her own nonprofit organization, subsequently placing her in the company of the president of the United States and leaving her to serve as counsel for government officials throughout Africa, she would have thought it was a lie.

Does spending your summer working for the New York Giants, networking with major New York power players, attending dinners with leadership coaches, and making $12,000 sound like a dream come true?
For 2007 Steamboat Foundation Scholar Kosi Egbuta, CSOM '08, it became a reality.
