March Madness - Spring is in the air, so obviously it is the perfect time to sit in front of the television and watch 10 straight hours of basketball. Even with Boston College out of post season play, productivity on campus is taking a hit.

Easter Break - The lunar calendar strikes again, bestowing five days off just two weeks after spring break. The holiday offered the opportunity for almost a week of rest, home cooking, and family time, at least for those students who don't have class Monday after 4 p.m.

Thumbs Down

Rev. Jeremiah Wright - The spiritual adviser of Barack Obama finds himself the subject of controversy. His bombastic sermons have made him a political untouchable, a fact that has led Obama to distance himself politically from the pastor.

Wal-Mart - The megastore chain looks like a heel after suing a brain-damaged former employee, Debbie Shank, to recoup health care costs the company plan paid out. When Shank won a lawsuit against the trucking company whose driver crushed her car, the company invoked a clause allowing it to recoup money spent on health care. Have a heart, people.
