Despite the focus on UGBC presidential and vice presidential elections the past two weeks, Senate campaigning started in earnest last Saturday. Elections for the 2012-2013 Senate will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 21, and Wednesday, Feb. 22, the same days as the UBGC presidential elections.

"In the coming weeks, Senate will be looking at ways in which to have a closer working relationship with the Student Organization Funding Committee (SOFC), and this is something that really needs to be worked on," said Vanessa Gomez, vice president of Senate and A&S '14. "Senate should also work a lot more on addressing the fact that students do not feel as though their voices are being heard."
