Shwayze To Headline Homecoming Concert, William Bolton To Open

Update: CAB has informed The Heights that the show will now start at 8:00 p.m. rather than 6:30.

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) has officially confirmed that rapper Shwayze will headline this year’s Homecoming Weekend concert on Thursday, Oct. 16. Boston College-based musician William Bolton, A&S ’16, will open for the hip-hop artist.

As opposed to the former “Fall Concert”—which was the responsibility of UGBC’s programming department, prior to the divestment of programming and the inception of CAB—this year’s newly labeled Homecoming Weekend concert will be held in The Rat. The show is scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m.

According to CAB President Kendall Stemper, A&S ’15, following the concert there will be a “Corona and Lime”-themed pub series event for students age 21 and older, as well as a meet-and-greet opportunity with Shwayze at a location and time yet to be announced.
