The Ohio State University football series will be postponed by several years, Boston College has announced. Previously scheduled for for 2023 and 2024 matchups, the Eagles and Buckeyes will meet in 2026 and 2027 instead. This is the second time the series has been postponed since it was originally scheduled in Nov., 2012.

BC will travel to Ohio Stadium on Sept. 19, 2026, while the Buckeyes will come to Alumni Stadium on Sept. 18, 2027.

The teams have played each other three times before, with Ohio State winning each game. One of those games was played in Ohio, one was played in Chestnut Hill, and one was played at a neutral location.

Incoming athletic director Martin Jarmond, who will leave his position as deputy athletic director at Ohio State, previously controlled football scheduling for the Buckeyes.
