Rapper Bryce Vine to Headline Stokes Set

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) announced on Wednesday that Boston College’s annual Stokes Set will feature rapper and singer Bryce Vine.

After the event took a hiatus last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Stokes Set will return to Stokes Lawn on Sept. 18. In past years, the event featured country artist Hunter Hayes in 2019 and pop singer Daya in 2018.

Vine entered the music scene in 2014 with the release of his first EP, Lazy Fair. After a series of singles, including “Sunflower Seeds,” his first album, Carnival, dropped in 2019, featuring the hit singles “Drew Barrymore” and “La La Land.” Vine released his latest EP, Problems, in 2020 and has since collaborated with various artists, including indie-pop group lovelytheband, on a series of singles.

Tickets for the event will go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m., according to a CAB Instagram post.
