The Student Assembly acquitted UGBC President Christian Guma in a vote of 15 for conviction to 11 for acquittal, three votes short of the 18 required to convict and remove Guma from office.
The Parliamentary Board of the Undergraduate Government of Boston College denied UGBC President Christian Guma’s petition to either dismiss a resolution scheduling his impeachment trial for Tuesday or to immediately reconvene the Student Assembly (SA) to debate the resolution again.
Two SA representatives of UGBC will present an article of impeachment against UGBC President Christian Guma for violating the UGBC Constitution by posting a statement on the UGBC Instagram account without approval from the Community Relations Committee.

Christian Guma, CSOM ’21, and Kevork Atinizian, CSOM ’22, were elected UGBC president and vice president last Tuesday and will be sworn in on April 29.
