In a hearing Thursday afternoon in the $3 million lawsuit pending against Boston College in regards to the alleged mishandling of a sexual assault allegation, Judge Denise Casper indicated that her inclination is to send the case to a jury trial. Casper said she will issue an order with her decision in the near term.

The Boston College Police Department issued a Community Awareness Bulletin this morning concerning two incidents of a victim being “inappropriately touched” while walking down Lake Street. The most recent incident occurred at approximately 10 p.m. by Rogers Park, which is located next to the intersection of Lake Street and Washington Street in Brighton.

The 2019 U.S. News college rankings, released Monday, placed Boston College at No. 38, tied with The College of William and Mary and the University of California Davis.
