Daryl Watts led the charge with two goals and an assist, and four different Eagles scored as BC women’s hockey dominated the Terriers 5-1 in the Hockey East Tournament semifinals Saturday.
Boston University women’s hockey started off the season slowly, winning just one of its first seven games, but enters the Beanpot on a roll. The Terriers are unbeaten in their last seven games.
The Eagles have won the last five regular season titles, but a white-hot Northeastern side and an uncharacteristic season from Katie Crowley’s bunch has BC looking up at the holiday break.
A bit more than a month ago, BC pulled out a 4-3 victory at Walter Brown Arena. Still undefeated in the Hockey East, the Eagles will look to take a commanding 3-0 lead in the season series this weekend.
