Katrina Jensen led the Eagles with 10 kills as BC defeated Hartford in three sets on Wednesday night.
The Eagles were led by Ky Bowman’s career-high 44 points, but also turned the ball over 19 times, and Jason Dunne hit three free throws to tie the game with four seconds left after being fouled on a 3-pointer as BC lost to Hartford 79-78 in overtime.
Jerome Robinson reached 1,000 points for his career in the win, but several consistent shortcomings that popped up against Hartford may haunt the Eagles come ACC play.
With Teddy Hawkins out of the lineup, the Eagles went back to relying on their backcourt as their primary source of production. Ky Bowman and Jerome Robinson came through, combining for a season-high 44 points.
Boston College women’s basketball didn’t get its season off to the right start, falling to Hartford in a road loss, 65-56.
