On Sept. 6, A Cappella Fest kicked of a new semester of performances with a variety of cover songs from six groups.
EcoPledge raised over $400 for wildlife relief in California from an a cappella benefit concert.
AcapellaFest showcased the talents of seven of the 12 active a cappella groups at Boston College. The groups pulled from contemporary works to craft a fun opening to the fall a cappella scene.
“I got to be Sinatra for a night … I wasn’t a college kid who was doing some singing, I wasn’t a member of a group who was singing. For once in my life, I was the star, and it was surreal,” Mastellone said.
The ‘A Capella Showcase’ saw bold covers, lively renditions, and heartfelt intensity being brought on stage by groups ready to let their voices ring throughout Arts Fest.
