The Startup Issue

Boston is a notoriously young city. Over 250,000 people attend colleges and universities in the Greater Boston area each year. With the large number of students and young adults living in the city, Boston has become a hub for new ideas, rivaling major tech communities like Silicon Valley. Famous startups like Facebook and Zipcar have spawned out of Boston, and have established the city as a leader in innovation across the country. Although universities like Harvard and MIT have traditionally led Boston’s startup scene, Boston College is establishing itself as an ingenuity powerhouse that can’t be ignored. This special issue features four recent BC graduates who are prominent leaders in the city’s startup community.
