BC men’s and women’s basketball kicked off their seasons Thursday with “Backyard Basketball” on the Upper Campus basketball court in hopes of generating excitement for the programs.
Led by a career-high 33 points from Taylor Soule, BC women’s basketball trounced Quinnipiac on Monday in a 94–68 victory.
In the absence of senior guard Makayla Dickens, Boston College women’s basketball fell to Notre Dame on the road 74–61. On the back of Olivia Miles, the Irish established a sharp-shooting attack and skipped to victory, handing BC a second consecutive loss for the first time this season.
