2015 Football Preview: Righting the Wrongs

This year for Addazio and crew, it’s all about righting the wrongs. A young team with plenty of explosive talent, the Eagles focus this year is in three key spots: Kicking, passing, and protecting. Sophomore QB Darius Wade emerges as an exciting yet unproven talent, Alex Howell looks to redeem the kicking game after a disastrous season, and a new offensive line needs to shape up. On the defensive side of the ball, a locked-in Justin Simmons leads a defense with a young secondary and powerful front seven. With soft Div. 1-AA opponents, the usual stout ACC competition, and a marquee matchup against Notre Dame at Fenway Park on the schedule, an inexperienced BC team needs to fill some major cracks in the surface this year.
