When the University suspended in-person classes in March, Jiayi Wang, MCAS ’22, returned home to Henan, China to finish out the semester in a different hemisphere, and because of U.S. travel restrictions barring entry to those coming from China, she was unable to return to campus for the fall semester.

BC Admission to Provide Prospective Students with Virtual Visit Experience
Although prospective students and families have been unable to traditionally preview Boston College’s campus due to the suspension of all on-campus visits in March, the Office of Undergraduate Admission has worked to provide students with a school visit experience in a new virtual landscape.

Fall Career Fair Goes Online With ‘Handshake”
Students logged into Handshake, Boston College’s new career management platform, on Thursday and searched for companies they were interested in and connected with recruiters as part of the annual fall career fair, which was held virtually this year.
