LTE: BC Students Are Men and Women for Others… Just Not On Yik Yak

While it may be safe to say that students don’t hear these remarks expressed so openly on a day-to-day basis, Yik Yak makes apparent that the prejudices students hold lie just below the surface. Take away accountability, and BC students are willing to let the rest of the student body know exactly what they are thinking. Without a filter, to be honest, we sound like a group of bigots.

LTE: The Administration Does Care

LTE: A Word Of Thanks

By:

We have moved forward. Last year, Matt Nacier, our teammates, and I envisioned that our administration would not be a perfect one, but a full one. I accept responsibility for everything that UGBC has done over the past year. Although there have been many challenges and criticisms, it would have been a fool’s errand to attempt to please everyone all the time. We have accomplished our goal-to catalyze a more dynamic student voice.
