After almost two weeks without a game, BC returned to action Wednesday in a contested loss to Pitt. The Eagles held a late lead and Taylor Soule scored a game-high 27 points, but neither was enough to avoid BC’s ultimate three-point loss.
A 3-pointer by Makayla Dickens tied the game at 33 midway through the second quarter, but the Cardinals drubbed BC in the second half and won 97-68.
Boston College women’s basketball lost to Notre Dame 83-73 on Sunday despite a season-high 13 3-pointers. The Eagles played three competitive quarters but let the Irish run away with the lead in the fourth.
