The past two years, the Eagles have lacked talent capable of completely taking over a game, like Alejandro Bedoya or Zeiko Lewis. They’ll need that to get back to the NCAA Tournament and break a postseason drought.
Bob Thompson—who, to this day, ranks in the top 15 in all three of the Eagles’ major offensive categories—is once again returning to Chestnut Hill to coach BC, only this time as the team’s associate head coach.
Head coach Ed Kelly’s group reunited with former teammate Zeiko Lewis, when BC took on the USL’s New York Red Bulls II. The Eagles hung with the pros for the first half, but eventually New York took over.
