Boston College rowing had a busy weekend of racing on the Charles, facing off against UMass, Dartmouth, and Boston University on Saturday and competing against BU, Northeastern, and Rhode Island on Sunday morning. Matched against tough opponents and fighting against high winds, BC struggled on the whole across the two days and only placed above last in a couple of races.
The Eagles’ results were headlined by a 9:21 finish in the first varsity four race against BU on Saturday, beating the Terriers by 13 seconds. BC’s first and second varsity eight boats placed soundly last in their heats on both days, while the first varsity four scored another win against BU on Sunday.
BC will close out its season at the ACC Championships in mid-May.
