Trevor Davock scored an equalizer early in the second half and BC outshot the No. 2 team in the country, but it was Wake Forest’s 75th minute goal that handed the Eagles another one-goal loss.
Simon Enstrom scored in the second minute—off of an assist from goaltender Antonio Chavez-Borelli nonetheless—and the Eagles escaped another one-goal decision with a win.
For the third straight match, BC was done in by a single goal, losing to Notre Dame in what was yet another heartbreaking conference game.
